Club expecting to receive “cheeky” bids for Arsenal transfer target before 30th June

Arsenal supporters may be interested to know that there has been another update on Everton midfielder Amadou Onana’s future, following recent talk that the Gunners could sign him this summer.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Arsenal has contacted Everton to inquire about Onana. The Belgian international may be an ideal replacement for Thomas Partey, who is elderly and prone to injuries.

According to Football Insider, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs interested in Onana. Everton is also expecting “cheeky” bids for the 22-year-old by the end of the month.

It’s unclear which clubs will make these approaches for Onana, but based on past reports, it appears that Arsenal will increase their interest in him soon.

Onana transfer: Should he be Arsenal’s top midfield target?

Everton’s financial predicament ensures that Onana is a realistic option this summer, but that doesn’t guarantee he’s the ideal fit for Mikel Arteta’s squad.

According to Ben Jacobs, Martin Zubimendi could be a good fit for Arteta’s style of play and has a greater ceiling. Keep an eye on this story.

Still, Onana has the advantage of being established in the Premier League, so he’s a viable alternative to examine, and AFC will not want to rush into a decision on such a significant transfer.

The fact that large clubs like Bayern and PSG appear to be interested in Onana demonstrates how brilliant a player he may be at the top level.
