Aston Villa and Crystal Palace goal scorer, 19, is the target of a new team that “enters race.”

According to reports, Brighton & Hove Albion is interested in an Aston Villa and Crystal Palace target.

Crysencio Summerville, a winger for Leeds United, has been strongly connected to numerous Premier League teams for months. The rumors have been more intense when the Lilywhites were not promoted to the top division of English football.

Summerville led Leeds to an outstanding 19 goals and 9 assists in 43 Championship games over the previous season. The Dutchman had a year less of experience at that point, therefore his previous season in the Premier League was less successful. In 24 games, he scored just four goals.

According to transfer news writer Fabrizio Romano, Brighton is the newest team to enter the race by formally expressing interest in Summerville. The Seagulls are rumored to have started negotiations with the Yorkshire team in an effort to outsmart rival teams.

Summerville has been strongly connected to Villa, who are eager to add a quick, skilled, and clinical winger to their roster. The Eagles are looking for replacements in case Michael Olise or Eberechi Eze go this summer, and Crystal Palace is also intrigued.

There are several Premier League suitors for Summerville.

Romano has called it a complicated issue because so many other clubs are involved, like Liverpool and Chelsea, who are keeping an eye on Summerville’s condition. With the ability to play on either flank, the forward would provide any prospective suitor useful versatility.

Naturally, given the amount and breadth of interest, a bidding battle could break out over the asking price, although local sources indicate Leeds will likely seek for about £40 million. Villa, whose budget is limited, can lose out if they don’t close deals and submit their bids quickly.
