According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham’s Emerson Royal is on the verge of joining Italian giants AC Milan.
According to the Italian tabloid, Milan is willing to spend “€18-20m” to sign him, and Spurs may “ultimately accept” [Spurs had apparently demanded more].
During his three years with Spurs, he failed to live up to the fans’ expectations.
The Brazilian full-back certainly lacks attacking talents and was set up to fail due to the number of games he played as a wing-back.
The infamous no-look pass, right out of play, when Spurs needed a goal in their Champions League group tie at home to Sporting CP will be long remembered.
