A player valued at £42 million has been contacted by Newcastle United in an attempt to secure their second summer acquisition.

Newcastle’s 2023–24 season was a little letdown following their 2022–2023 League Cup run and Champions League qualifying spots. Following a loan stint in Milan, Chelsea permanently sold the Englishman to the Italian team in 2021. The defender went on to help his team win Serie A in 2021–2022. During his tenure in Italy, Tomori has garnered a lot of praise; in 2022, Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis called the stopper “extraordinary”.
