Ivan Toney should be signed by Premier League Tottenham in order to go to the “next level.”

In order to go to the “next level,” former defender Alan Hutton has advised Tottenham Hotspur to recruit Ivan Toney, a star player at Brentford, this summer.

Despite selling Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the summer, the Lilywhites made the decision not to sign a new striker. They have recently been connected to a few names, so it seems like they are trying to do it before the upcoming season.

Although Dominic Solanke, Albert Gudmundsson, and Santiago Giménez have all surfaced as viable choices, Toney is also allegedly of interest to the Spurs.

The forward’s contract is slated to expire at the conclusion of the following season, and it has been suggested that he is willing to depart Brentford this summer. The Bees are reportedly willing to let him leave the team in exchange for a payment of about £60 million.

Speaking on Football Insider, Hutton now indicated that if Tottenham were to acquire the Brentford star, they would be getting a “incredible” player who has the ability to push the team to new heights.

Hutton responded, “Who would be the best addition for Tottenham to bolster their frontline?”

Tottenham to Toney

The Englishman was reportedly wanted by Arsenal and Chelsea as well, but it appears that they have chosen against moving further with a signing agreement.

Manchester United has been mentioned as a possible bidder for Toney, so Tottenham may have to contend with opposition from the all-time Premier League winners in any negotiations for him.

Despite having a fantastic 2022–2023 season, oney was suspended for the first part of the previous season after it was determined that he had broken the betting regulations. He assisted his team in surviving the relegation after his return.

He has earned his spot in the England team and is expected to play a significant part for his country in the European Championship after showcasing his abilities in the Premier League over the past few years. Toney is a fantastic striker, so if Tottenham were to get him this summer, it would be a huge coup.
