As Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto’s medical claim is revealed, Everton transfer news

Dr Rajpal Brar said that attacker Wilfried Gnonto of Leeds United should have no trouble passing his Everton physical.

The injury expert asserts that the Italy international is not at an obvious risk of experiencing problems with his medical, even with his limited playing time and ankle setback earlier in the season.

This comes after Goal revealed on May 28 that the Toffees might try to recruit the 20-year-old to Goodison Park in addition to Jack Harrison.

Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapy specialist, exclusively spoke to Goodison News about Gnonto.

Everton will be aware of Gnonto’s ankle problems, as he did not play frequently during the 2023–2024 season, before signing him.

“I firmly doubt that it will result in any problems with the medical examination, since these tests usually search for anomalies or conditions that could pose unanticipated medium- and long-term risks.”

“Neither the irregular game time nor the mild ankle issue would seem to create that.”

At the proper price, Wilfried Gnonto might be signed by Everton.

Gnonto is a gifted teenage winger who has already shown his abilities in the top flight and has the potential to become one of the Premier League’s best players.

His quickness and adaptability would give Everton’s offense a fresh perspective.

After barely avoiding relegation the previous season, the Toffees need to bolster their roster, and Gnonto would be a great addition to their attacking line.

The Italy international has previously stated his wish to quit Leeds United, and if they don’t get promoted, he may finally be able to do so.

In other Everton news, a £26 million deal is planned by a European team that is eager to relieve their striker of their payroll.
