According to reports, Swansea City is at the top of the list of teams hoping to capture Huddersfield Town’s Lee Nicholls.

On his Patreon page, reporter Alan Nixon states that Swansea would gladly accept Nicholls provided a fee could be worked out. Swansea is anticipated to make a bid that is less than the asking price, while Huddersfield is said to be seeking a “decent sum” for the 31-year-old.

During his time at Swansea last season, Carl Rushworth was one of the best goalkeepers in the Championship. Nevertheless, after his loan period ended, he went back to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Although the gifted 22-year-old would be a perfect fit for the Swans, he has been connected to Ipswich Town, a Premier League newcomer. It so happens that Rushworth attended the Huddersfield academy for a spell before finishing his football training at Brighton and FC Halifax Town.
