Tottenham preparing move for 17-G/A star who is one of their most desired targets

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Eberechi Eze ahead of next season.

The North London club is looking to add more firepower to their roster following a successful start to the new era under Ange Postecoglou. Spurs are looking to strengthen their squad after returning to Europe. According to Paul O Keefe, Tottenham are contemplating an offer for their top target, Eberechi Eze.

Eze has grown from strength to strength since his arrival to Crystal Palace in the summer of 2020. In 31 games last season, the attacking midfielder scored 11 goals and assisted six times. Gareth Southgate has called him up to the England squad for the Euros following his strong performances.

While the athlete is now concentrating on the continental tournament, his future has become a hot topic. Several big clubs are interested, including Tottenham.

Signing Eze might greatly benefit Spurs, as he could fight with James Maddison for a spot in the starting lineup. Eze can play as an offensive midfielder and on the flanks when needed. More significantly, the 25-year-old will provide goals and creativity to the side.

His contract with the Eagles expires in the summer of 2027, and they have made it clear that they will only authorise Eze’s transfer if a club is willing to pay more than £60 million. Palace need a significant portion of the whole sum to be paid upfront, which makes things difficult for Spurs.
