The 6’3 Duran, whose strong-framed muscle is employed to supplement his finishing abilities and improve his team’s defensive efforts, is beginning to appear like something exceptional.

It would theoretically make him worth more than twice as much as Luiz, whose departure is being offset by the expected signings of two Old Lady players, but it is still a monument to Duran’s stratospheric rise.
The best aspect is that it will most likely have no negative impact on Emery’s plans. Duran is a talented player, but no one is greater than the club, and the Spaniard will have the supporters’ trust in redirecting recouped monies to other, more intriguing new targets.
