Dallas Mavericks avoid sweep with Game 4 thumping of the Boston Celtics in NBA Finals.

Dallas – Jason Kidd explained why his Dallas Mavericks players brought their “A” game on June 14 in Game 4 of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals.

“It was this or we’d go on vacation,” the coach stated.

Dallas star Luka Doncic scored 25 of his 29 points in the first half, and Kyrie Irving added 21 points to help the Mavericks avoid a 4-0 whitewash.

The action returns to Boston for Game 5 on June 17, when the Celtics want to seal the deal at home and win their 18th championship.

We’ll believe till the end. I have a strong belief in this team, so we just need to keep believing.” Dallas got off to a quick start and did not look back.

Doncic launched a 10-0 run in the first quarter, helping the Mavericks take a 25-14 lead with 3 minutes and 19 seconds left.

That early run foreshadowed future events.

By the end of the first period, Dallas had a 34-21 advantage and continued to pile it on.
