Weston McKennie ‘really important’ new Aston Villa signing as Fabrizio Romano drops update

According to a report by Fabrizio Romano on June 11, the American will go to Villa Park as part of an agreement that will see the Brazilian join the Old Lady.

Ross Barkley is another player whom the Villans are getting closer to signing, according to the transfer expert (June 3).

The midfield dialogue will be drastically altered the next season as Unai Emery gets his team ready for the Champions League.

As Luiz leaves this summer, podcaster Bracey of Villa thinks McKennie will be a valuable addition to the squad’s depth.

Speaking only to, Bracey stated: “There’s a decent talent there, but obviously people remember McKennie from his time with Leeds when he wasn’t great and they had a bad season.

He is a passable athlete. Supporters need to have faith in Emery and Monchi because Aston Villa will succeed with whoever they choose.

There will be extra games because of the Champions League. “Towards the close of the previous season, the team was thinner due to injuries and results slid away at times.

“While McKennie might not be as skilled as Luiz, he brings depth, and that will be crucial for the upcoming season.”

Weston McKennie nears Aston Villa move

The American and Samuel Iling-Junior appear to be the two Juventus players who the Villans will be adding to their roster in time for the upcoming campaign.

As Luiz leaves, the two are getting ready to relocate the other, with a swap agreement moving to Villa Park almost finished.

Having played in the Premier League, McKennie was demoted when Javi Gracia, Sam Allardyce, and Jesse Marsch assumed leadership roles.

It’s safe to assume that with Emery having signed a long-term new contract last month to prolong his tenure, this uncertainty won’t exist in B6.

Despite his strong presence in midfield, his primary skill set is receiving the ball at his feet and advancing the ball whenever it is feasible.

The 25-year-old has experience winning championships and participating in the Champions League, having won two trophies during his time in Italy.

While the transaction hasn’t exactly won over fans, it might end to being a wise economic move in an effort to address PSR issues..
