In light of the Everton transfer rumor, Juventus will select Arthur after what Jurgen Klopp stated.

Juror Giorgio Musso reports that Juventus will be assessing Arthur Melo’s future in light of Everton’s interest.

According to the Calcio Mercato reporter, Arthur “caught the interest” of the Toffees prior to the current summer transfer window opening.

Napoli is apparently vying for the midfielder’s transfer, so the Merseyside club isn’t the only team in the running for him.
What Everton may gain from Arthur Melo

Despite a difficult several seasons for the former Liverpool star, the 2023–24 campaign showed that there is still a very good talent there someplace.

Arthur participated in 48 games for Fiorentina in the previous campaign, contributing six goals in the process.

Although these figures aren’t particularly impressive, they do improve when you consider that the 27-year-old spent the entirety of the 2023–24 campaign playing defensive midfielder.

Furthermore, even though his first experience in England was marred by his injuries, it doesn’t guaraEven though the midfielder didn’t have the best of times with Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp continued to give the player high accolades when he was at Anfield.

The German responded as follows to a question regarding his contributions to Liverpool on the club’s official website: “What does he bring? We’re all very sure about one thing: he’s an amazing football player.

“He was in or approaching the prime age to be a football player, having previously had a highly interesting career at a relatively young age.

“He’s a really good passer, quick off the mark, safe on the ball, and, as I mentioned earlier, he can demand rhythm, which is pretty important. He’s also really good in tight areas.” It really appeals to me.

And thus, the question immediately arises, ‘Why can you loan a player like this? because things at Juventus didn’t work out completely. However, I see that more as a plus because there is still potential.

This not only describes Arthur’s style of play but also highlights how much of a coup he could be for Sean Dyche.
What role might Arthur Melo play in the Everton system?

The Toffees currently start defensive midfielder Amadou Onana in their lineup.

But like other teams in Everton’s circumstances, it is likely that the midfielder will be among the many players cut rather than picked because of desire.

Everton has placed a price tag of about £50 million, which seems fairly fair for a player of Onana’s caliber and significance to the team.

Therefore, Dyche might be considering replacing him with Arthur.

Onana may easily rank slightly above the Belgium international and forge a strong connection with him if he decides to stay with the Toffees through the 2024–2025 season.

In other Everton news, Jordan Pickford is a “big worry” for England in the Euros this summer, according to sources close to Gareth Southgate.
