Since Roma is losing faith in Tammy Abraham, Everton wants to finalize her transfer.

According to La Gazzetta Della Sport, Everton is one of several Premier League teams interested in acquiring Tammy Abraham from Roma this summer.

As Roma looks for other offensive targets, the newspaper said in its print version [13 June, pg 31] that Everton, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and West Ham would be eager to grant Abraham a return to England.

The 26-year-old’s present club reportedly has “no longer great confidence” in him, and the Toffees could jump in as Roma is reportedly seeking for a sum of between £20 and £25 million.

Roma prepared to let go of Abraham, an Everton target

Abraham is a well-known player in the league and may be a coup for Everton. He is a former Premier League player with 11 caps and three goals for England.

Due to his recent injury history—he missed barely 318 minutes of the 2023–24 season because of a cruciate ligament injury—Roma is losing faith in the player.

The tall former Chelsea striker is thought to be the perfect Dominic Calvert-Lewin substitute should the fellow England player go this summer after eight years. The current Everton number nine is reportedly being linked to a £25 million move to Newcastle United.

Dyche may find Abraham to be a ready-made replacement, and if he appearvup elite teams and may favor a transfer to Champions League newcomers Aston Villa, where he played on loan during the 2018–19 season.

However, to get the Three Lions striker back in the England picture, Everton could be able to offer him first-choice, long-term football.

Concerns have been raised over Jarrad Branthwaite’s affordability to Manchester United in unrelated Everton news.
