FABIAN HÜRZELER, the head coach of St. Pauli, has verbally agreed to join Brighton.

 

According to Sky Germany, Brighton & LP Hove Albion and St. Pauli head coach Fabian Hürzeler have reached a verbal agreement.

Nonetheless, following early promising negotiations with the St. Pauli head coach, Brighton appears to be on the verge of luring Hürzeler away from the newly promoted Bundesliga team.

Brighton and Hürzeler have reached a verbal agreement, and it is now up to the two clubs to agree on a suitable fee for the 31-year-old’s services.

It is understood that Hürzeler’s contract contains no release clause, but rather a gentleman’s agreement that allows the American-born head coach to go if an appealing offer is presented.

As a result, it is unlikely that St. Pauli will obstruct Hürzeler’s progress while negotiations continue.

Hürzeler has previously been granted a work visa in England.
