With ties to Ipswich Town, an update on Rangers star Tom Lawrence’s transfer is revealed.

Rangers ace Tom Lawrence transfer update emerges amid Ipswich Town links

Stuart Wilson claims that Ipswich Town, a recently promoted Premier League team, is not interested in signing Rangers forward Tom Lawrence.

On June 10, the journalist revealed that this is yet another instance of Ipswich’s name being used to spark interest in a player.

The 30-year-old Wales international is not being considered by the Premier League team, even though they are eager to add players to their attacking lineup this summer.

“My understanding is that Ipswich’s name is being used in this transfer report to try and generate interest/further negotiations,” Wilson wrote.

For the Rangers in recent months, Tom Lawrence has not been impressive.

Sheffield United is also keeping an eye on the Welshman and might think about selling players to raise money for him.

Lawrence has made just 40 appearances for the team and scored just six goals in his first two seasons, making his performance thus far at the club lackluster.

His tendency to get injured and his patchy play have limited his effect on the team.Lawrence has one more year on his contract, so he needs to perform well to earn a new one or draw interest from other teams.

This is a critical season for Philippe Clement, who is in charge of a team revamp, because of Lawrence’s advancing years and diminishing playing effect.

For the team to consider him a worthwhile asset, he must demonstrate that he can improve his goal-scoring record, raise his game, and avoid injuries.
