According to insiders who spoke to Football Insider, Aston Villa will resist sel since they are anticipated to be near the PSR limit for the upcoming season, having just disclosed losses of £119 million in their 2022–2023 finances.

The 26-year-old Luiz has drawn a lot of attention lately, but Villa has rejected advances for the previous 18 months.
