Atletico Madrid is signing for a premier league side on an E15 million deal.

 

 

Over the last week, Atletico Madrid has been widely associated with Braga wideman Rodrigo Gomes,

but the Portuguese will instead join with Wolves in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old was regarded as a right wing-back option for Los Colchoneros,

potentially competing with Nahuel Molina, who has frequently been replaced by Marcos Llorente or Cesar Azpilicueta.

Atletico had apparently clinched negotiations on a €15 million transaction.However, Gomes will join Wolves,

according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Atletico did not bid for him because they preferred to focus on other objectives.

He’ll sign a five-year contract in the Midlands.
