Insistence Everton would be junior partner in multi-club plan – Toffees would come second

Following all of the drama between 777 Partners and Everton this year, the Toffees may be leaning towards an intriguing alternative to that strategy, according to Italian media.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Friedkin family, who control AS Roma, has made an offer for 45% of Farhad Moshiri’s Blu Heaven Holdings Limited.

According to reports, the Giallorossi are planning to make a big splash in international football, with the offer set to be made on Saturday morning.

For the time being, it is unknown how much The Friedkin Group is bidding for Everton, but Forbes has estimated their value at roughly €700 million.

The proposal for 45% is thought to be sufficient to gain control of ‘the club and its management’. However, the TFG does not want to abandon Roma, preferring to preserve the Gialorossi and form a ‘galaxy of clubs’, with the Italian team being the ‘gem’ and the Toffees following.

For the time being, there is little confidence that the TFG will win this struggle, as Gazzetta has stated that there are five other bids on the table. We’ll soon see if Everton is interested in being owned by a group that doesn’t prioritise them.
