1. There are big transfer questions for Dyche to answer this summer
Key names are under pressure to leave with their financial issues, but who will remain?
2. Amadou Onana – Leave
It is likely he will leave this summer as one of their biggest assets. He has interest from top clubs and he could be a big money sale.
3. Tyler Onyango – Stay
While the youngster has barely featured this season despite being in the first-team squad, he should get more opportunities next year as midfielders leave. Everton will need his presence in the squad with financial difficulties.
4. Ben Godfrey – Stay
While he is the target of both AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, he isn’t guaranteed to start in any of those sides and he started 12 of the last 17 under Dyche at the back end of last season. He just needs a strong pre-season to continue at right-back in the back four, or potentially at centre-back if Branthwaite departs.
5. Jack Harrison – Leave
Harrison enjoyed a commendable first season on loan at the club and while reports claim he is in talks about returning to Everton, there have been no developments across the past two weeks.
6. Dominic Calvert-Lewin – Stay
At the moment, his contract expires next summer and it is something that the club are keen to make a move on. He is loved by the fans and has had some brilliant moments across the years and it would certainly be good business to keep hold of their number nine.
7. Idrissa Gueye – Stay
Offered a one-year-extension, Everton triggered their clause to do so after his brilliant end to the season. It makes sense to keep hold of someone when their midfield departures are uncertain.
8. Ashley Young – Stay
Young was a veteran option signed on a free to help add squad depth and he was useful across the season. With finances likely to be even more tight this summer, he will be likely agree another deal unless there are better options more suited to him on the table.
9. Michael Keane – Leave
The defender’s contract expires next summer, and at 31, he has proved that his performance levels have diminished. He has had interest from abroad, and Everton should cash in if feasible.
