Celtic’s goalkeeping situation
It will be intriguing to watch whatever path Celtic choose, since some may suggest signing a young custodian.
But after struggling for several years and being in his late 30s, Ange Postecoglou brought in Hart from Tottenham when he was in the dugout and needed a shot-stopper.
Hart gave the squad many years of excellence, including a Triple Crown, thus the organisation doesn’t really need to add a younger player.
Whatever happens, Rodgers will need a custodian who can play out of the back and maintain composure when in possession if he is to succeed the following season.
