Jakarta, June 7 (PTI): India’s challenge as ace shuttler Lakshya Sen was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the men’s singles event here.

There was little to differentiate the two shuttlers until the finish, as they both matched each other before Antonsen had the final laugh.

Antonsen took an early 4-0 lead, but Sen came back to tie the game at 5-5 and then stretched it to 15-11.

But the Dane was not to be outdone, using his reach and tiring Sen out with long rallies to tie the game at 16-16.

The two players fought tooth and nail until 22 points, when the Indian succumbed and conceded the first game to his opponent.
