KUALA LUMPUR, JUNE 7— Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, president of the Badminton Association of Malaysia

(BAM), believes that national players would ‘explode’ at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, which will be held from July 26 to August 11.

Despite the irregular performance at multiple World Tour tournaments, including the recent Malaysian Masters, Mohamad Norza stated that it was not a real reflection of the country’s players.

-ADVERTISEMENT- In fact, the BAM director, who also serves as the president of the Malaysian Olympic Council (OCM), is certain that the country’s athletes would perform to their full potential in Paris 2024.

“Say they win the Thailand Open in Singapore;

do we want them to peak there? We want them to have the best performance in Paris 2024.

For them, the benefit of the doubt is steadfast support.
