Sunderland must rekindle Kieffer Moore flame whoever the new boss is:

Kieffer Moore might be the ideal answer to Sunderland’s persistent striker need.

One of the main reasons Sunderland ended so low last season was their dearth of goal-scoring attackers.

Kieffer Moore would provide Sunderland with goals and greatly bolster their team if they signed him this summer.Due to Moore’s established record in the Championship, Sunderland must sign him.

After a disappointing 16th-place finish last season, Sunderland face a big summer transfer window if they wish to improve and move up the league table.

The Black Cats’ poor play in the second half of the 2023–24 season was mostly due to their strikers’ inability to threaten for goals. As a result, they finished far down the standings.

After firing Michael Beale in February, the team is still without a manager. In order to bolster their roster, the club’s management will need to make some significant choices in the upcoming months.

Adding a striker, namely one who would ensure goals at this level, would be an easy way to improve.

This summer, Sunderland ought to try to sign Kieffer Moore.

Welsh international striker Kieffer Moore has been linked to Sunderland in the past; back in January, the Black Cats were reportedly considering a transfer for him.

But after moving on loan from Bournemouth to Ipswich Town, the 31-year-old scored seven goals in 18 games—including a pivotal goal against Coventry City that put the Tractor Boys on the verge of the Premier League—and helped propel the team to the top flight.

Moore is undoubtedly one of the best players in the league right now, so it should come as no surprise that when it became clear that Bournemouth was willing to let him go on loan, teams from all over the Championship were vying for his signature.
