Celtic Make Their Move For Versatile Player Rodgers Trusts

Celtic is still active in the transfer market, even if the majority of football attention is currently focused on the international scene and the impending Euros.

Daniel Amartey could be added to the Hoops’ roster in order to bolster them ahead of the upcoming season, following their victory in the domestic double.

The 52-time cap Ghanaian international from Besiktas is reportedly interested in joining the Scottish champions, who have put in a four million euro proposal for his services, according to a report from Turkish outlet NTV Spor.

According to rumours, Brendan Rodgers, the manager, believes in Amartey, a versatile player, and the Celts want to sign him.

Throughout Amartey’s time at Leicester, the Parkhead coach collaborated with the 29-year-old, and Amartey made more than 70 appearances under his direction.

Amartey would provide the squad much-needed depth and talent since he can play right back, centre back, and holding midfield.

Despite his success in England, when he won the Premier League, FA Cup, and Community Shield, his year in Turkey with Besiktas hasn’t gone as planned.

If Amartey and his former manager get back together this summer, maybe he may find his form again.
