Adidas release stunning Aston Villa-inspired kit for Unai Emery’s Real UnionThe 2024–2025 Real Union Club uniforms have been revealed, and one of them is an away shirt with an Aston Villa motif.
Late last year, Villa announced a cooperative partnership with the Spanish third-division team.In the third-tier club where his father and grandfather played, Unai Emery owns a majority share. Igor, Unai’s brother, serves as the club president as well.
The kits, which are available online, are produced by adidas, just as Villa’s will be following an exciting agreement that Nassef Sawiris and President of Business Operations Chris Heck negotiated with one of the two major players in the sports apparel market. Sawiris is by far the company’s largest investor with a six percent stake.
The claret away jersey from Union features blue sleeves and gold adidas stripes that extend from the neck to the shoulder blades. The Villa home shirt from 2009–10 is the most similar.
In reference to the club’s centennial year, Union’s home uniform features black and white stripes, just like their 1918 Cup-winning squad.
Union said that the home strip and the away shirt with Villa inspiration will be available for purchase soon.
