Ipswich Town is considering a Premier League bid for the £6.4 million-rated pair.

Ipswich Town is eager to add players to their roster this summer in preparation for the difficult job of surviving in the Premier League after being promoted this season.

The club announced that Kieran McKenna had signed a new four-year contract, extending his stay at Portman Road until 2028 at the latest. The Tractor Boys had already completed their most shrewd move of the transfer market, having led the Suffolk-based team to back-to-back promotions to the top flight, making them the first team since Southampton in 2012 to accomplish this amazing feat.

This unprecedented promotion has allowed Ipswich to reap the financial fruits of Premier League football at long last. Over the past few weeks, football finance expert Kieran Maguire has predicted that the club will make £150 million for just one season in the top-flight. In comparison, the East Anglian side made £37 million the last time they played in the Premier League over two decades ago.

Now, Ipswich Town will have some wiggle room in the summer to strengthen the squad. There have already been a number of names on the recruitment department’s list, including Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Carl Rushworth. Darren Witcoop is reporting that the Tractor Boys are monitoring the shot-stopper’s situation on the south coast and are waiting to see whether the Seagulls give the ex-Swansea City and Lincoln City keeper the green light to leave over the coming months or not.

Additionally, on Tuesday night, Sussex World published a report stating that Ipswich is trying to bring back attacker Jeremy Sarmiento, who spent the first part of the season at West Bromwich Albion and the second half at Portman Road on loan. According to Transfermarkt, the aggregate market worth of these two players is £6.4 million.
