Angel Reese was dismissed Tuesday during the Chicago Sky’s 88-75 loss to the new York liberty

The ejection drew some criticism, with Chicago Bulls player Lonzo Ball promising to pay any prospective fine for Reese.

Many fans wondered why Reese was removed in the first place.

Reese waved her hand as she walked away, as if dismissing the official.

But is that enough to warrant ejection?According to the official, it certainly played a factor, as reported by Michael Voepel of ESPN.

“Lead official Maj Forsberg told reporters after the game that Reese’s technical fouls were for ‘disrespectfully addressing’ the official and then for ‘waving her hand in dismissal,'” Voepel reported on ESPN.

It is worth noting that this was her second technical of the game.

The official was plainly offended by Angel Reese’s comments and behavior.

People will dispute whether she should have received a technical, but Sky star Marina Mabrey made a key point after the game, as did Voepel.

“She got two techs, she said something to the ref,” Mabrey stated.

“He made whatever he believed to be the right decision.
