Bournemouth drop biggest transfer hint yet that 25 y/o star is joining Newcastle United

Lloyd Kelly’s contract with Bournemouth expires on June 30, and the club has confirmed he will be leaving.

The adaptable defender, who Eddie Howe joined at the Cherries in 2019, is anticipated to join Newcastle United on a free transfer. Kelly has ten caps for the England under-21 team and is a left- or center-back.

Kelly is a wise addition because of his Premier League experience, but the Magpies must exercise caution when it comes to their transfer activity due to FFP/PSR laws. It is said that Newcastle will have resisted Liverpool’s interest if the 25-year-old shows up as anticipated next month.

Bournemouth, along with four other first-team players, confirmed Kelly’s departure. The Cherries also disclosed academy-level departures.
