In order to prepare for the 2024–25 season, Fulham released their retained list and announced the departure of nine first-team players.

Prior to the new season, Marco Silva’s team made significant roster changes in an effort to improve on their 13th-place Premier League result from the previous one.

Marek Rodák, Tosin Adarabioyo, Tyrese Francois, Terence Kongolo, Luciano D’Auria-Henry, George Okkas, Caelan Avenell, Ma’Kel Bogle-Campbell, and Montague Conway are among the players who will be leaving this month, the club said on Wednesday.

Additionally, they disclosed that they have taken advantage of the opportunity to extend contracts for seven players, including Kenny Tete, the starting full-back.

Terrell Works, Olly Sanderson, Devan Tanton, Chris Donnell, Alfie McNally, and Chibby Nwoko were among the other participants.

They claim that George Wickens and Harvey Araujo have also received contract offers.

Fulham, however, asserts that they are still in talks with Bobby De Cordova-Reid and veteran winger Willian.

Prior to the summer transfer window, several Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly interested in signing former Chelsea player Willian.

Since Willian and De Cordova-Reid may be leaving, the west London team has been linked to a transfer for Emile Smith Rowe of Arsenal.

Smith Rowe, 23, a product of the Gunners system, has had a challenging few seasons following a breakthrough season in which he scored ten Premier League goals in 2021–2022.

Since then, the attacking midfielder has struggled with form and fitness, making only three Premier League starts.

Ahead of his transfer to Chelsea, leaving defender Adarabioyo has been going through medicals today, as was revealed by Mail Sport on Tuesday.

After agreeing to join Chelsea over the weekend, the Fulham defender will become the first acquisition of the Enzo Maresca era provided the deal’s formalities are finalised.

Newcastle United had been pushing for the 26-year-old and were getting close to an agreement, but negotiations moved fast after Chelsea’s revised offer at the end of last week.

Adarabioyo was motivated to move because Chelsea qualified for Europe and he knew Chelsea’s new manager, Maresca, from their time together at Manchester City.
