Everton investment claim emerges as takeover timeline is mooted at Goodison Park

Bryan King feels Everton is still a “attractive” option for potential investors. The ex-Goodison scout believes the Toffees have created a difficult position for themselves.

It comes after reporter Giulia Bould reported on BBC Sport (1 June) that Everton’s new ownership deal “will surely play out over months, not weeks.” However, King, speaking exclusively to Goodison News, is optimistic that investors would be enticed by a takeover at Goodison. “I think the club have created their own issues,” stated King.

“It was evident from the start that 777 had problems. Whatever company they’ve been affiliated with has had issues. Whoever buys Everton is acquiring a major club.”

Farhad Moshiri will be working tirelessly to find new owners at Everton

Moshiri will undoubtedly be keen to sell his stake. After the long and drawn-out 777 Partners drama, the club is back to square one.

If Moshiri wants to return any of his investment, he should work tirelessly to locate a new possible owner for Goodison Park.

The Toffees are a large English club with a long history. With the right owners in place, the blue side of Merseyside has lots of potential.
