Dominic Solanke was instructed to sign with Tottenham following the events at Bournemouth.

Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke has been told by Alan Hutton that a summer transfer to Tottenham is the right “next step” to take in his career.

While Timo Werner has signed a one-year loan from RB Leipzig, Richarlison has been linked to a move out of North London, and Werner is likely to provide a rotation option out wide rather than as a number nine.

Solanke would therefore be assured of a starting spot at the top of the Premier League and the Europa League the following season, and the center-forward position may very well be up for grabs once more in North London.

You would have to assume that the 26-year-old would be open to switching if Spurs did come calling this summer.

Will Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou sign Dominic Solanke in the summer transfer window?

Although it’s still uncertain if Solanke is a real target, Postecoglou is anticipated to make a number of changes to his Spurs team this summer. The Liywhites are also anticipated to be shopping for a new number nine.
