Report: Nottingham Forest are ready to challenge Spurs for exciting winger
It has now emerged that at least three clubs are interested in signing rumoured Tottenham target Callum Hudson-Odoi, with one of those thought to be a Champions League side.
Following his summer transfer from Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi has had an incredible debut season at Nottingham Forest. It is said that several teams have shown interest in the winger after his performances at the City Ground.Last week, TEAMtalk revealed that although Forest would prefer to hang onto the 23-year-old, they would have to take offers for him because of FFP issues. Spurs are rumored to be interested in the player.The Guardian supported Tottenham’s desire to sign Hudson-Odoi this summer a few days ago.
It was revealed that the Lilywhites turned down the opportunity to sign the player last summer, but they had second thoughts after witnessing his outstanding performances this year. It is now said that Ange Postecoglou’s team is determined to bring the former Chelsea star to N17.
Three Premier League clubs want Callum Hudson-Odoi
Journalist Matt Ford has now disclosed that at least two other Premier League teams, including a Champions League team, are vying with Tottenham for Hudson-Odoi.“We’ve got a bit of breaking news that concerns Nottingham Forest and Callum Hudson-Odoi who finished the season very strong for Forest,” he said to Sky Sports News.
Three Premier League teams that have not yet been named reportedly want to sign Hudson-Odoi. One of those teams is reportedly interested in playing in the Champions League, so either Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, or Aston Villa.”He’s going into the final two years of his contract, and he scored eight goals in 20 Premier League starts last season.”
When Hudson-Odoi was displayed in a store window, he was sure to draw a lot of attention. The winger may find moving to Tottenham quite alluring, especially if Ange Postecoglou can convince the 23-year-old that his system would suit him well.
