Club officials ‘expected to meet’ Everton soon after Toffees show interest in signing

Jarrad Branthwaite would be replaced by Everton’s Davinson Sánchez if he were to depart the Toffees, according to reports from the UK press earlier this week.

In its story, Sabah discusses Everton’s interest in Sánchez without addressing the UK’s charges.

The Colombian international’s playing time has been cut down recently; over the past eight games, he has only played 229 minutes.

His contract with the Istanbul club expires in 2027, with an additional year’s option. He joined from Tottenham Hotspur in September of last year.

If Everton made a move for the centre defender during the summer transfer window, he might be able to return to the Premier League.

To win the league, Galatasaray must defeat Antalyaspor in their final match on Sunday in order to maintain their three-point lead over Fenerbahçe in second place.

It is stated that the Galatasaray management is “expected to meet with Everton” to explore a possible deal for the 27-year-old following this weekend’s match.

Sabah claims that the Turkish team is seeking €25 million for the defender, and Sean Dyche’s team is not expected to be able to accommodate them.
