Oliver Norwood is being pursued by Watford, Hull, and Sunderland, according to reports.

Football Insider has been informed by sources that Sunderland, Hull City, and Watford have expressed interest in signing Oliver Norwood, a midfielder for Sheffield United.

When his current contract expires on June 1st, Norwood, 33, is expected to leave Bramall Lane; many EFL clubs are reportedly exploring possible deals.

According to sources, other MLS teams have also shown interest in signing the Manchester United youth product for nothing.

The midfield player has been promoted four times in his career: twice with the Blades and once each with Fulham and Brighton. He is a serial promotion winner.

Watford, Hull City, and Sunderland are all interested in Oliver Norwood.

Norwood holds the record for the most Premier League appearances for the Baldes with 97. Since joining the team on loan in 2018 and making the switch permanent in 2019, Norwood has made 252 appearances overall.

Having played youth for England until transferring to the under-19 squad, he has also made 57 appearances for the Northern Irish national side.

Now that his contract has been allowed to expire without a new term offered, he will be leaving the club.

After a dismal season that saw them finish 16th, Sunderland will want to add an experienced player to their youthful team in the hopes of pushing to make the playoffs the following year.

After finishing 15th in another poor season, Watford signed a contract to sign Norwood after the veteran Jake Livermore arrived last summer.

After missing out on the playoffs, Hull cut ties with Liam Rosenior, believing that a trade for the 33-year-old would provide a new alternative for the youthful, aspirational team they had put together this season.

Due to competition from overseas, Norwood will have a plethora of options to choose from this summer after the three clubs expressed interest.
