Amidst reports of a transfer for more than £55 million, Tottenham was backed to sign Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig.

John Wenham has called for Tottenham to sign Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig.

Ange Postecoglou’s team would “considerably improve” with the Spain international, according to the proprietor of the respectable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose.

It follows after a report in Bild on May 9th stated that Olmo, who has a £55.8 million release clause, is being watched by a number of elite teams, including Spurs.

Wenham also thinks the team could make a statement by signing the 26-year-old, according to an exclusive interview with Tottenham News.

“Olmo is an excellent player,” stated Hamilton.

He is well-liked and someone who could really strengthen our team.

“I know every major club wants him, so I would love to see Spurs go out and sign him.”
