Daniel Farke of Leeds United is hoping to add goals from midfield this summer, and the Danish international has been linked to the club.

Matt O’Riley declined to comment on speculation about his future, but he does believe it would be “very difficult” to leave Celtic given his continued connections to Leeds United and other European teams.

After an outstanding three years at Celtic, O’Riley has gained a lot of admirers. Leeds is still rumored to be interested in signing him. With 18 goals and 13 assists this season, the aggressive midfielder has been especially important for Brendan Rodgers’ team as they have won the Scottish Premiership.

O’Riley and Celtic have the minor matter of an Old Firm clash in the Scottish Cup final to look forward to later this month as they aim for a domestic double before turning their attention to the summer. Any acquisition of O’Riley would probably come with a hefty price tag compared to Leeds’ rumored £10 million offer, which was turned down last summer.
