Rangers ‘in for’ deal to sign record-breaking centre-forward who can’t stop scoring

Albion Rrahmani, a striker for Rapid Bucharest, is a target for Rangers to sign this summer, according to Kosovan Football.

The Kosovan news source, X, announced in an update on May 18 that Philippe Clement’s team has entered the competition to sign the forward, who has so far this season totaled 19 goals and five assists, along with teams like Aston Villa and Benfica.

Rrahmani has played for Kosovo in their Euro 2024 qualification campaign, earning four senior caps to date.

When Rapid Bucharest signed him for £515,000 (€600,000) from Ballkani last August, he became the most expensive player in Kosovo SuperLeague history.

With attacking players rumoured to be leaving, Rangers anticipate a busy summer of hiring as they aim to dethrone Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership next year.

Rangers must have a fruitful summer.

In the end, the table isn’t misleading; it doesn’t only show points; it also shows that Rangers conceded more goals and scored less goals than Celtic.

The Light Blues’ lacklustre year began under Michael Beale, and their hectic schedule, coupled with injury concerns, ultimately led to their downfall.

All hands must be on deck to bring in the appropriate players following the Scottish Cup final, which takes place next week and offers Rangers the chance to win both cups this season and gain some ground on Celtic.

Kemar Roofe will be one of plenty to depart Ibrox this summer

Many players will leave Ibrox; some, like Borna Barisic and Kevin Roofe, have already been announced. Therefore, hiring decisions must be carefully considered.

Rangers has always taken a traditional stance when it comes to the manager’s involvement in transfer negotiations, so this summer’s medallion is quite significant.

Nonetheless, there is always hope that the distance will soon close and that the team will achieve significant outcomes with a number of quality new additions in the upcoming campaign.
