Villa Confirm First Exit after UCL Qualification
The club announced the first summer transfer news after Tuesday night’s announcement: Morgan Sanson has completed a permanent transfer to Ligue 1 team OGC Nice. The midfield player will continue his career in France permanently next season after spending the current campaign there on loan.
Sanson left Marseille to join Villa in 2021, and he has since made 23 appearances for the team in all competitions. In January 2023, he scored his lone goal for Claret and Blue in the FA Cup against Stevenage.
