EVERTON CONFIRMS CONTRACT OFFERS AND PLAYERS LEAVING

Ahead of the final match of the 2024/25 Premier League season at Arsenal on Sunday, the Club can disclose captain Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young are to be granted new one-year contracts, while an option to extend Idrissa Gana Gueye’s agreement to the end of June 2025 has been triggered.
At the end of next month, senior players Andy Lonergan and Andre Gomes will leave the Blues when their present contracts expire.

After their season-long loans are up, Jack Harrison and Arnaut Danjuma will return to Leeds United and Villarreal, respectively. After Leeds’ current Championship play-off campaign concludes, Everton and the Yorkshire club will resume discussions regarding Harrison’s future.

Dele, whose current contract expires next month, will stay with the Club while he goes through a rigorous rehabilitation program in response to a chronic groin issue he has been dealing with off-Merseyside.

We also acknowledge the contributions that Arnaut and Jack have made to our Men’s Senior Team’s success this season under Sean and his coaching staff. In the upcoming weeks, we will keep talking with Leeds about Jack’s future.

“Our medical team will continue to support Dele while he completes the intensive rehabilitation programme he is currently undergoing following the operation he had earlier this year,” Thelwell continued in regards to Dele. “Dele’s contract is coming to an end.” Sean and I believe it is imperative that we ensure Dele’s recuperation is unaffected by his contract situation during this critical phase of his recuperation. will return to Villarreal and Leeds United, respectively, after their season-long loans are over.
