Presenter Goldbridge called the revelation “embarrassing,” implying that United lacks the funds to pay £100 million on a striker and asserting that Watkins would not be interested in joining the Red Devils.

It’s unclear if Watkins would cost £100 million, but it doesn’t seem likely that Villa would be prepared to let him go.
