Newcastle on brink of agreeing first summer signing – Big claims on Sunday night

Tosin Adarabioyo, the center back for Fulham, appears to be close to joining Newcastle as our summer transfer activity gets underway.

We are reportedly “close to sealing a deal” for the 26-year-old, who would arrive on a free transfer after turning down a new contract at Craven Cottage, according to a Sunday night update from Luke Edwards of The Telegraph.

Good news about our pursuit of the 6′ 5′ defender has also been relayed by Craig Hope of The Mail, who reports that we are now the “clear favourites” for his signature and his preferred destination.

Adarabioyo, according to Hope, is thrilled about the club’s aspirations, impressed by the vision that was given to him during talks, and keen to work with Eddie Howe, a manager with a reputation for developing players on Tyneside.

In addition, Fabrizio Romano offered his thoughts, stating that our preparations to sign Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth and Tosin are “progressing very well” and “fast,” implying that we are indeed moving forward in our pursuit of these soon-to-be free agents.
