Man City ready player-plus-cash move to sign £10m Everton youngster

According to Alan Nixon, Manchester City plans to sign Everton custodian Daniel Lukjanciks in a player-plus-cash deal.

The writer revealed on his Patreon page on Sunday (12 May) that City is willing to spend up to £10 million for the youngster.

It is believed that City’s readiness to sign Lukjanciks will result in them offering a homegrown player to Everton in exchange for a price.

“Manchester City are ready to move for Everton’s young keeper Daniel Lukjanciks – and may pay up to £10m for him,” said Nixon.

“England Under-17 Cap” Lukjanciks has been pursued by various clubs, but City is eager to sign him this summer.

Everton must keep hold of Daniel Lukjanciks

Nixon adds that a sale would help Everton meet FFP rules because the young custodian is homegrown and could be transferred for a total profit.

While little is known about Lukjanciks, it is apparent that he is a very skilled custodian who will most certainly make the first team.

If Lukjanciks is moved and becomes a City regular in a few years, Everton will be left hating themselves.

And, while the Citizens have several extremely promising young players on their roster, it is indicative that they are willing to sacrifice one of them to sign Lukjanciks.

The entire ownership scenario complicates matters, as Everton will most certainly have to tighten the financial strings even more, but hopefully Lukjanciks remains on board.

An offer of £10 million is appealing, but the Toffees should politely decline and bet on the youngster being a future star on Merseyside.
