Everton make wise choice as Harrison transfer stance confirmed

Everton are appropriately waiting until they are financially stable before deciding whether to recruit Jack Harrison during the summer transfer season.

The Leeds United loanee has had a positive stay with the Toffees, and Sean Dyche may want to make the move permanent.

The Whites are reportedly seeking a £30 million fee, which Everton may be unable to afford.

Dyche discussed the possibility of signing Harrison permanently after his team’s victory over Sheffield United, as reported by Liverpool Echo on May 12.

He answered, “We’ll wait and see. The first step was to ensure our safety, and after that was done, we could re-evaluate the internal reality in terms of our financial capabilities, which would be an ongoing process.”

Everton wise to wait on Jack Harrison decision

Given the concerns surrounding Everton and Farhad Moshiri this season, there needs to be some sensitivity in the transfer window.

It’s unclear whether new owners will take control throughout the summer due to issues with 777 Partners.

There have been links to Kevin Malone and MSP Sports Capital, which could thrill supporters in the future.

Moshiri is currently in charge, and the team is struggling financially, as seen by eight points deducted this season.

That being said, delaying the decision to sign Harrison demonstrates that they are attempting to be strategic and not rush into any signings.

Jack Harrison is unlikely to stay with Everton next season

He’s had a fine season, nothing particularly remarkable, but he’s a popular character at Goodison Park and a valuable addition to Dyche’s side.

It is questionable if he is worth £30 million, but considering the current situation of the transfer market, who knows?
