Sutton raises Celtic ‘Issue’ live on Sky Sports 2 hours before Rangers game

Sutton raises Celtic ‘Issue’ live on Sky Sports 2 hours before Rangers game.

Chris Sutton has raised a “problem” that he believes could prevent Celtic from winning against Rangers as he offers his pre-match views from Parkhead. Rangers face Celtic at 12:30pm on Saturday (11 May), in a game that the Gers must win. Sutton is on commentary duty for the game and

released his final predictions a little more than two hours before the game. “It’s all about control in this game. “I sense, with what’s at stake, there may be a few cards, a few of reds,” he told Sky Sports News on May 11 at 10:13am.

“It’s the nature of the game; it’s so severe with three games remaining. The pressure is on both teams. “Many Celtic fans believe it is a given conclusion, but I disagree. My issue with Celtic is the number of times they’ve performed well in consecutive games.”

Rangers know what they have to do to beat Celtic

Rangers must simply focus on their own game and not be distracted by what Celtic do, no matter how cliched that may sound. Philippe Clement has now faced Celtic twice, and he hopes to have learned what works and what does not. Celtic have won four consecutive games in all competitions, one of which being an extra-time cup win, most recently defeating Hearts 3-0. It goes without saying that Brendan Rodgers’ side is in good shape, but they have a tendency to follow up stunning victories with lackluster performances.

Rangers will hope that pattern continues in what promises to be a very big contest. This is not the time for any player in blue to hide. And, as for Sutton’s prediction of a couple of red cards, any Gers player who is sent off unnecessarily will not hear the end of it.
