Report claims West Ham can now sign 32-year-old Newcastle player for £20 million

Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson has been linked with a move to West Ham United for years, dating back to his time at Bournemouth.

Callum Wilson has scored more goals against West Ham United than any other team in his career, totaling 12 in 14 outings.

During his time at Bournemouth, the 32-year-old was known to rile up Hammers fans. He once scored a goal against us using his hand and then chuckled when asked about it after the game.

During his tenure with Newcastle, he made several cheeky social media posts ahead of their games against us.

According to Give Me Sport, Newcastle United are looking to trade Callum Wilson for about £20 million this summer.

Wilson has been a brilliant attacker throughout his career, but he is now 32 years old and prone to injuries.

The centre-forward has 48 goals in 107 games for Newcastle, however he has missed 462 days of activity due to injury since moving to St James’ Park (Transfermarkt).

West Ham need a striker similar to Callum Wilson, but younger and more durable.

I do not think we should sign him for £20 million this summer; there are considerably better choices available, such as Dominic Solanke.
