The outcome of one game clearly affects the result of the subsequent one. When everything was going well for Aston Villa, they faced a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Olympiacos in the first leg of the semi-final round of the Europa League.

The striker of the pack, Ollie Watkins, will be important if the Villans wish to advance to the next stage.
