“All eyes…” – Kenny Miller explains Rangers title chances and date for decider

Kenny Miller told Sky Sports that although the Scottish Premiership trophy doesn’t exactly have green and white ribbons on it, Philippe Clement needs to go past one obstacle in order for Rangers to win.

In his assessment of the crushing loss in Dingwall, Miller told Sky Sports that although the lead has switched, one particular day remains that could be crucial:

“To be honest with you, when that fixture is decided in a few weeks, all eyes are on Celtic Park.

It’s unclear if the Rangers’ scheduled game against Dundee on Wednesday night will take place at Dundee itself.

However, in order to regain that one point, it is imperative that you win.

“What it accomplished was to give Celtic the upper hand before that match at Celtic Park.

“You could have easily secured a draw if Rangers had prevailed against that opponent yesterday, won their game in hand, and went into that two-point lead.”

Is everything based on Parkhead’s outcome?

The bad news for Rangers is that teams seldom win all of their games following a split, so Philippe Clement will need to rally his squad to play the way they did when they were closing the deficit.

It has been much too long since Celtic was defeated in a competitive match, and it has been more than 2.5 years since a victory at Parkhead.

That record needs to be updated.

Miller is somewhat correct that Parkhead is growing in popularity, but teams like Kilmarnock and Hearts, who have defeated both sides of the Old Firm this season and will be confident in doing so again, are being harmed by this.

Although we haven’t made things easy for ourselves, it is still technically in the hands of the Rangers.
