Aberdeen vs Celtic and Rangers vs Hearts referees and VAR officials confirmed for Scottish Cup semi-finals

The Scottish FA has named both sets of match officials ahead of this weekend’s keenly anticipated semi-finals at Hampden Park.

The Scottish FA has confirmed the refereeing crew and VAR assignments for the upcoming Scottish Cup semi-finals between Aberdeen and Celtic, as well as Rangers and Hearts. Aberdeen, who finished in the bottom half of the Scottish Premiership this season, will travel to Glasgow to face Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops on Saturday at 12:30pm.

Don Robertson will be the man in the center. He will be accompanied by linesmen Graeme Stewart and Steven Traynor, with David Dickinson serving as the fourth official. Greg Aitken will be in the VAR control room at Clydesdale House, alongside assistant Andrew McWilliam.

Steven McLean will lead Rangers‘ second semi-final against Hearts, starting at 3pm on Sunday. Doug Potter and Craig Ferguson will run the lines at the national stadium, with Kevin Clancy serving as the fourth official. Willie Collum will be the VAR, with Sean Carr as his assistant.

Rangers have won all of their matches against the Jambos this season, and the Tynecastle club has never beaten the Ibrox side in the national stadium.

In their quest for silverware, all four teams will be seeking to secure a spot in the season’s final game next month.
