Tony Cascarino has drooled over Jarrod Bowen for his impact at West Ham this season, describing him as a “manager’s dream” for David Moyes.

The 27-year-old has scored eight assists this season in addition to his 15 Premier League goals, bringing his total to 19 goals in all competitions after goals in the FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Europa League.

In addition to dominating at the winger position, Bowen has also been used as a striker in his own right, particularly while Michael Antonio has been sidelined.

The well-known talkSPORT analyst Cascarino wrote for The Times on Friday, April 12, stating: “He is a manager’s dream, a great pro, and the first name on your teamsheet.” He constantly wants the ball, running his socks off and bringing a buzz to the side.

“Bowen joined West Ham from Hull City in the Championship and has been an incredible star.” He is adaptable enough to have appeared in games this season as both a striker and a winger, scoring from both positions.

West Ham United desperate for Jarrod Bowen injury return

Given how many goals he has contributed this season, Bowen is possibly the most significant player at the London Stadium.

The Hammers player has more goals than Erling Haaland, Ollie Watkins, Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke, and Cole Palmer combined.

With six games left, it seems unlikely that Bowen will take home the Golden Boot, but he will be very pleased with his season-long play. But his most recent injury will be a severe setback.

West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen

Jarrod Bowen’s availability for the second leg will be hoped upon by West Ham.

The winger will most likely miss Sunday’s Premier League match against Fulham as he races to be fit for the second leg of the Europa League match against Bayern Leverkusen, according to The Guardian [12 April].

Despite their immense abilities, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta both rely on Bowen’s influence to alter the course of events. If the current injury were serious, then there would be a noticeable absence.
