According to reports, owner of the Las Vegas Raiders Mark Davis has given the team the go-ahead to try to move up in the NFL Draft by making a trade for one of the best quarterback prospects in this year’s class. However, there is a catch.
For the Las Vegas Raiders, this offseason has been fascinating. Initially, they fulfilled the aspirations of numerous supporters by appointing Antonio Pierce as the permanent head coach. To the same position with the silver-and-black, they also appointed Tom Telesco, a former general manager of the Los Angeles Chargers. Additionally, they made a significant impression in free agency by acquiring Christian Wilkins, a gifted defensive end.
The 2024 NFL Draft is currently the team’s and the fan base’s main concern, and there has been conjecture regarding what they will do in Round 1.There are rumours that the team is hoping to select a franchise quarterback in a draft class that includes four signal callers with star potential.
Regretfully, the Raiders may pass on four excellent quarterbacks before the team has a chance to select at pick 13. To acquire their desired player, like Jayden Daniels or JJ McCarthy, they would have to make a risky move up in the first round. That requires upper management consent, which Telesco appears to have.
